I am thirty-three years old and have been married to the love of my life, Jason Sharp, for fourteen years.  We have been in ministry together for sixteen years and currently serve at Francis Baptist Church in Palatka, Florida. We have three children:  Kanaan (5), Klement (5), and Kambry (3). We have been so blessed by the Lord on this great journey thus far and look forward to what He is going to do in the days and years ahead.  I am honored to share a part of my journey with you.  May God bless and use us to show His glory to and share His Gospel with the nations.  Thanks for reading!

In the past, I have also enjoyed writing for the Kentucky Baptist Convention Women’s Blog:  http://www.crosseyedliving.com

In a few months it will be 2 years that I had lost my best friend. I remember thinking “what am I going to do without her?” “doesn’t she understand that she is needed here? That I NEED her?” I tried my best to be outwardly supportive of this decision she was making, but I was dying inside.
We have remained close despite of the distance, I, however still have these feelings periodically. They sometimes make me avoid calls, and other ways of communication. I was angry. How childish, eh? 🙂
This blog, has finally given me a peace that I haven’t had in a long time about her leaving. I know that my Jesus had other plans for her, and I see how many people that she is reaching in the name of Jesus Christ. My heart is so full right now. I am so thankful that she never gave into my brattiness (is that a word? LOL) and continued being the ‘pusher’ that she is.
I never lost my best friend after all.
Thank you for the posting this blog. I think that I will sit and have a cup of fabulous tea and read this daily. 🙂
